From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

According to pilot's statement: crew was assigned a repositioning flight from cyyz to kbuf. Preflight, taxi, takeoff, enroute, and landing were normal. While taxiing to parking at kbuf, line maintenance and crew noticed that fuel was leaking from near the right main landing gear. After the fuel leak was contained, PIC noticed that the RH landing gear door was missing. The missing landing gear door was discovered by ground personnel on 12/05/2024 at cyyz on airport property. No post incident fire or damage to airport property.
