From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft 1 suffered an electrical failure during flight. The pilot of aircraft 1 decided to continue his planned flight to Pearland Regional (klvj) airport and set up for a landing and approach to runway 32. The pilot of aircraft 1 stated he saw aircraft 2 about 1/2 mile ahead of him and on approach to runway 32. Aircraft 2 conducted its landing and slowed down to exit on taxiway A3. Aircraft 1 landed with aircraft 2 still on the runway and could not slow in time to avoid hitting aircraft 2. Aircraft 1 impacted aircraft 2 at the intersection of taxiway A3 and runway 32.
