From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 03/19/2025 at approxiamatley 1013 local time, a 2024 Piper pa 46-350P being piloted by privacy data omitted under 14 CFR part 91 rules, experienced a gusty crosswind on landing touchdown at Henderson Executive Airport, NV (khnd) that resulted in an uncontrolled runway excursion that caused substantial damage to the aircraft.

There were three persons on board - one(1) pilot and two(2) passengers. All persons on board the aircraft evacuated safely once aircraft came to a complete stop. One(1) minor injury to the pilot (skin laceration on arm) was observed by FAA personnel on scene in which no medical care was requested nor given. The two(2) passengers had no injuries.

The pilot was interviewed at the accident airport and provided a verbal and written statement of the flight. The pilot stated that the flight originated from long beach airport, CA (klgb) with an intended direct VFR flight to khnd. The route of flight was klgb, paradise VOR, hec VOR, then direct at 15500FT. Aircraft was on flight following from klgb. At eight(8) miles out from khnd, the pilot contacted the tower, received weather information through the automated terminal information system (ATIS) November and also was cleared to land runway 35L. Pilot activated the visual approach for the runway providing glideslope via the aircraft's flight director system and stabilized a full flap landing with 100 knots on short final and 90 knots over the runway numbers. The pilot indicated that a noticeable crosswind was felt just prior to touchdown that windmilled the aircraft ten(10) degrees to the right. The pilot stated that correction was attempted with rudder inputs, however the left main gear touched down and swung the aircraft hard to the left. The pilot decided to apply full brakes at this time. The aircraft continued in the left direction, exited the surface of the runway into the rock filled median that seperated the runway from taxiway alpha. As the aircraft continued, it struck a ditch in the center of the median which spun the aircraft approximatley forty-five(45) degrees further to the left and at which time the aircraft exited the median onto taxiway alpha and came to a full stop. The pilot powered down the aircraft and one of the passengers opened the main aircraft entry/exit door and all persons exited the aircraft.

As the FAA filed it

ON 03/19/2025 AT APPROXIAMATLEY 1013 LOCAL TIME, A 2024 PIPER PA 46-350P BEING PILOTED BY ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ UNDER 14 CFR PART 91 RULES, EXPERIENCED A GUSTY CROSSWIND ON LANDING TOUCHDOWN AT HENDERSON EXECUTIVE AIRPORT, NV (KHND) THAT RESULTED IN AN UNCONTROLLED RUNWAY EXCURSION THAT CAUSED SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE TO THE AIRCRAFT.
