From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

In the afternoon of may 21st, 2025, a flight instructor and student were conducting a training flight. Upon landing on runway 24 right at Wilmington int airport(ilm) minimal braking was used upon landing. Shortly after rollout the nose wheel started shaking and vibrating aggressively. Pilot determined the nose wheel had gone flat. Pilot then contacted ATC and after coming to a stop on the runway the pilot was unable to move the aircraft. Aircraft was towed to the ramp. A mechanic employed by the operator traveled to (ilm) and replaced the nose wheel assembly with a serviceable hub, new tire and inner tube. Several photos of the nose tire and wheel assembly were taken during the repair process. One photo shows a possible puncture hole through the tread surface of the tire. From photographs, general tire condition appears normal and tire tread depth appears serviceable. A maintenance logbook entry was generated for the work performed and a copy was provided to this office.
