From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot stated he was cleared for takeoff runway 29. Aircraft accelerated on runway centerline until 40-60 knots and then pulled left off centerline more than he could correct with right rudder. Aircraft rolled into grass area to the left of the runway, and uneven ground helped it become airborn. Airport ramp camera shows the aircraft banked right once it became airborn. It impacted the ground in a nose low attitude, sheared left main landing gear leg, nosewheel, and slid to rest between runways 29 and 25. Pilot and passenger evacuated the aircraft uninjured, and a fire started under the left wing which was handled by the fire department.
