From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 2, 2025, at approximately 08:30 an amphibian aircraft, during a repositioning flight made a gear-up landing at Tweed-New Haven airport (hvn). During the initial approach to runway 2, the SIC was acting as PIC. The PIC was providing guidance to the SIC and began performing the landing checklist. ATC issued an instruction to perform a left 360° maneuver to avoid the jet wash from inbound traffic. While executing the turn, the crew elected to hold the gear up while circling over water. The landing checklist was not performed on the second approach and landing sequence. Additionally, the audible alarm associated with landing gear positioning was out of adjustment and did not work, preventing standard warning alerts from notifying the crew of the incomplete landing gear deployment. The aircraft landed on the pontoons with no remarkable damage. The aircraft was jacked, the gear lowered and it exited the runway under its own power. The flight crew consisted of the pilot in command and second in command with no passengers on board. The crew evacuated safely and no one was injured. Weather was not a factor.

As the FAA filed it
