From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

At approximately 1630 on June 6th,privacy data omitted an Air tractor 602 had reloaded with approximately 2,500 lbs of fertilizer and refueled approximately three quarters full. Upon takeoff, approximately 2,065 feet down the runway, the aircraft veered right, leaving the runway, entering into a bean field. The aircraft lifted off moving approximately 30 feet forward into the field. The aircraft then came down with the right wing striking the ground, causing the aircraft to spin to the right through the beans. The momentum caused the aircraft to flip over, coming to rest inverted in a canal that was approximately 45 feet wide and contained about three feet of water. The nose of the aircraft was on the north bank, while the rest of the aircraft was submerged in the water. The airman was found deceased and the aircraft was destroyed.
