From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

The aircraft privacy data omitted experienced substantial damage during a landing attempt under gusty wind conditions. The pilot in command (PIC) reported that a wind gust lifted the aircraft off the runway after touchdown, causing it to veer left off course. Despite initiating a go-around, the pilot was unable to maintain directional control and altitude, resulting in the aircraft impacting the ground next to the runway and coming to rest in the grass.

Winds were reported as gusting to 23 knots. The Cirrus SR22T has a maximum demonstrated crosswind component of 21 knots.
