From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

A C-172 with two crew members were conducting touch and go's at kevb. On climb out after the first landing the aircraft experienced a complete power loss. Emergency procedures were completed by the pilot flying and the engine momentarily sputtered but again failed to provide any power. Based on the low altitude the decision was made to accomplish a landing straight ahead in a grassy area. The nosegear contacted the top of a 6 foot airport perimeter fence flipping the aircraft over onto the top of the plane coming to rest approximately 52 feet beyond the fence. The occupants egressed with minor injuries.
