From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

PIC is a student pilot conducting a solo flight. PIC stated they had a hard landing while landing at lhx. Upon contact with the runway, PIC stated they bounced and veered off runway into the grass. At that point, the main landing gear separated from the aircraft and the aircraft flipped forward, coming to rest upside down in the grass right off the runway. There is major damage to the tail section of the aircraft to include major damage to the rudder. There is also major damage to the nose landing gear and the nose landing gear separated from the aircraft.
