From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 11/09/2025 at approximately 1630 CST, the pilot landed long due to the evening sun obscuring his vision. After touchdown, he noticed he was farther down the runway than expected. He noticed people in automobiles filming his landing and obstructing his ability to use the clearing beyond. He turned right to avoid the automobiles, which overstressed the axle attachment bolts, causing the left wheel assembly to detach from the gear spring. The left wing impacted the ground two times, bending the wing spar in two places.
