From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Pilot reported right after takeoff the landing gear did not retract. Pilot then cycled the gear handle and the gear retracted normally. Pilot then performed three successful touch and goes with no other problems except the gear warning horn was not working. Pilot stated in her NASA report that she normally puts the gear down on the downwind and she thought she checked for it. She reported that she does not recall retracting the gear or double checking that the gear was down and locked. She stated, I was expecting a smooth touch and go. The aircraft landed smoothly on its belly. Pilot also stated in her NASA report, I thought the gear was down and was surprised to find upon landing that it wasn’t.
