What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
On December 16th, 2025, the pilot attempted a landing at kreg, Louisiana Regional Airport in Gonzales, LA. The pilot had to perform a "go around" on the first landing attempt due to being too high on final approach. During the second landing attempt, the aircraft bounced off of the runway, at which point the pilot decided to continue to land. The aircraft bounced a second time and went into a nose up attitude. The aircraft bounced a third time and was in a severe nose up attitude. At this point, the PIC flying in the right seat took control. The PIC applied full power to the engine and commanded the pilot in the left seat to bring gear and flaps up in an attempt to perform a "go around". With low airspeed and a high angle of attack, the left wing stalled and the aircraft began to spin to the left. The aircraft went through a wildlife fence and came to rest just inside the tree line bordering the airport property. Both pilot and copilot were uninjured. The aircraft was recovered and brought to the pilot's hangar on the airport.
