From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

The pilot attempted to use emergency hand pump to extend gear with no success. The pilot declared an emergency and landed at cae on runway 29. Emergency equipment was standing by but was not needed. The pilot and student pilot egressed without injury. Aircraft operations utilized a crane to pick the aircraft up on the runway. Aircraft owner/mechanic was on scene and manually pulled gear into the down lock position. Airport operations set the aircraft back down and towed the aircraft to its facility. FAA airworthiness inspector subsequently traveled to the hangar to inspect aircraft logbooks and observe gear swing. The insepctor found no discrepancy in logbooks.
