What happened
The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.
Pilot stated that he was the solo person on board and the PIC Tuesday night at approximately 8:00PM and the mishap occurred while attempting to land at Cuyahoga County Airport (kcgf) runway 24. Pilot stated that the winds were too high, and he didn't feel comfortable and executed a go-around and diverted to lake county executive airport (klnn) runway 28 after he knew he struck his right-wing tip. Pilot was aware he scrapped his right-wing tip during his landing attempt at kcgf but was completely unaware of his prop strikes at the time. Pilot reported that "the aircraft flew nice after" the wingtip and prop strike. Pilot stated he reported the incident to the aircraft owner once he discovered the prop strikes during aircraft tie-down while he was investigating the right-wing tip. He checked his phone log, and it showed his call to the owner was at 8:17PM to inform him of the incident. Pilot stated he suffered no injuries. When asked about the landing gear position for the landing attempt at kcgf being up or down he stated it was down and he left it down for the flight to klnn "because it was one less thing to remember". Pilot stated that the winds were within the limits of the aircraft during the landing attempt at kcgf, but he had to "hold a crab in all the way down the approach for his landing attempt. Pilot called me on 2MAR26 to confirm that he did not strike the right-wing tip and props on taxiway A3 but must have come in contact with runway 24 just prior the taxiway A3.
