From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On March 20, 2026 an on demand charter flight from miami to Les Cayes with 5 passengers and 3 crew members. PIC, fo, and fa.

Upon arrival in the les cays area, it was VFR with rain. The crew identified and confirmed they had cya airport in sight 15 NM out and informed position to controllers. PIC stated that he noticed traffic on the TCAS at about 4-5 o'clock which was at the same altitude. Concerned about the traffic and fuel he retracted his 9 degrees selected flap position to 0. He was told to hold 15 NM from airport, he requested 1O minutes and maintained a clean configuration. He reported tight on fuel, so tower cleared him to land. PIC stated that SIC was concerned that the aircraft was unstable and told the tower they were going around and the PIC followed that command from fo. The aircraft entered a left downwind pattern to set up for runway 8 again. The SIC stated that she did not like this due to unstable approach. The PIC stated it was ok it was ok to land. PIC stated they landed solidly. Wet runway. The PIC stated max breaking and reverse was applied but could not stop aircraft. Aircraft came to rest with nose of aircraft partially in roadway beyond the airport perimeter fence. Nose wheel hit a shallow ditch and folded backwards and the aircraft stopped.
