On 04/15/2026 las Vegas, Nevada (vgt) 13:05 local time. A Cessna 182 landing on runway 12R departed the runway between taxiway charlie and taxiway h during landing rollout. Aircraft came to a full stop on taxiway bravo which parallels runway 12R. Aircraft was undamaged, no ground object damage, and no injuries reported. Flight control continuity was established. Pilot stated the following: "I was coming in for landing at kvgt and was sequenced on an extended downwind for 12R due to multiple aircraft landing. Had current information tango (winds 110 @ 4). Tower sequenced another aircraft in front of me for departure and asked me to slow as much as possible. As that aircraft departed, the pilot called out low level wind shear and tower repeated that call. I continued my landing and touched down just past the 1000’ markers. On initial rollout around taxiway charlie, I felt a wind gust throw the aircraft to the right. Before I could correct, aircraft was heading into millings between runway 12R and taxiway bravo just past taxiway charlie. Aircraft continued to decelerate in millings and ended up steering onto taxiway bravo between taxiways charlie & hotel where it came to a stop. Following this, tower was calling out winds 130 @ 9G18 to other aircraft being re-routed to runway 7. Based on foreflight track it looks like landing was around 1:03 pm. Looking at historical METAR at 19:53Z (12:53 pm), winds were 150 @10G16." According to pilot statement, the winds were coming from the right side of aircraft 130 degee AND150 degee, aircraft was landing runway 12R which would push the aircraft to the left of centerline. Incident aircrat departed runway to the right which is contrary to wind direction stated. Pilot has 26.7 hours in make and model. This investigation has determined that the pilot failed to maintain directional control during landing rollout.

PILOT HAS 26.7 HOURS IN MAKE AND MODEL.THIS INVESTIGATION HAS DETERMINED THAT THE PILOT FAILED TO MAINTAIN DIRECTIONAL CONTROL DURING LANDING ROLLOUT.
