From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On April 27, 2026, privacy data omitted privacy data omitted departed austin executive airport (kedc) en route to Prescott regional airport (kprc). Shortly after departure, the pilot reported the landing gear would not retract and multiple landing gear system circuit breakers tripped when reset. The pilot verified the landing gear was down and locked, elected to continue the flight, and made an intermediate fuel stop at pecos municipal airport (kpeq). No maintenance was performed prior to continuing to kprc.

During landing on runway 21L at kprc, the pilot reported the approach and touchdown were normal until the nose landing gear contacted the runway. The nose wheel began oscillating, and the aircraft subsequently departed the left side of the runway at approximately 40 knots. During the runway excursion, the nose landing gear partially collapsed, resulting in propeller and exhaust stack contact with the ground.

The pilot and passenger exited the aircraft without injury. The aircraft sustained substantial damage.

It has not been determined whether the landing gear malfunction experienced earlier in the flight contributed to the nose landing gear collapse during landing. The investigation remains ongoing.

As the FAA filed it

ON APRIL 27, 2026, ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ DEPARTED AUSTIN EXECUTIVE AIRPORT (KEDC) EN ROUTE TO PRESCOTT REGIONAL AIRPORT (KPRC).
