From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Upon entering the left downwind leg for runway 28 at millville municipal airport (miv), the pilot in command (PIC) selected the gear handle to the down position. The landing gear failed to extend. The PIC elected to divert and land at Morristown municipal airport (mmu). During the approach to mmu, both the normal and manual (emergency) gear extension systems were utilized. The landing gear failed to fully extend using either system. The PIC executed a gear-up landing on runway 23 at mmu. The pilot stated the manual extend handle was restricted and did not move through its full travel.
