From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On Saturday, 05/23/2026, a flight departed from kpwk (chicago executive airport) to karv (Woodruff Lakeland airport) at approximately 1335 CDT. During a crosswind landing on runway 10, the aircraft's main wheels touched down normally. A sudden wind shift caused the aircraft to continue down the runway at higher than normal speed despite braking. An attempted go-around triggered the stall horn as the nose lifted off. The aircraft exited the end of the runway and came to rest approximately 1,000 feet beyond it. The nose gear collapsed, causing the propeller to strike the ground and stop the engine. The fuel selector was closed, all electrical systems were turned off, and the aircraft was exited safely.
