From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 4, 2026 at approx 0953 EDT, Beechcraft G36 privacy data omitted suffered a runway excursion due to an aborted take off, sustaining substantial damage.

The aircraft taxied to runway 35, and the pilot reported the runup showed no abnormailities. The pilot stated that "as the roll progressed the aircraft seemed sluggish and not picking up speed as expected." A decision to abort was made at a reported 62KTS indicated airspeed, the aircraft however was unable to stop in the remaining distance. This resulted in a runway excursion where the aircraft collided with a metal fence dividing airport property from a local route. The pilot egressed the aircraft without injuries.

A review of data retrieved from the MFD / PFD indicates the aircraft had a ground speed of > 80 KTS and an indicated airspeed > 80KTS with engine RPM at 2700 with 2800 inhg.

As the FAA filed it

ON JUNE 4, 2026 AT APPROX 0953 EDT, BEECHCRAFT G36 ^PRIVACY DATA OMITTED^ SUFFERED A RUNWAY EXCURSION DUE TO AN ABORTED TAKE OFF, SUSTAINING SUBSTANTIAL DAMAGE.
