From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Aircraft was flying at 45 thousand feet when there was a huge pop almost like a shotgun. Crew noticed the window shattered and they immediately asked for a descent and told ATC what had happened. They noticed the window cracked and couldnt tell how deep so they wanted to start the descent just in case. While descending they took a better look at the windshield and noticed it was only the outer layer thay cracked. So, they stopped their descent and continued on to their destination.
