From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 06/05/2026 at 1115 a Cessna P210N crashed while attempting a go around. Purpose of flight was sight seeing, no flight plan was filed and the dammage to the aircraft was substantial. The pilot and both passengers were injured, one passenger critically. The pilot is a private pilot and the flight originated from casa grande municipal airport.

On June 5th at approximately 8:30AM Arizona time (9:30AM new Mexico time) the aircraft departed casa grande municipal airport for Dona ana airport, and no performance anomalies were noted.

As the aircraft approached Dona ana airport, the aircraft approached the runway from the east, trying to land into the wind. As the aircraft began to descend and touch down, the pilot attempted to slow the plane but had difficulty. The pilot was fighting a strong crosswind, which pushed the aircraft to the far-left edge of the runway. At this point the pilot said, “oh no, hang on guys!” the engine revved, and the airplane was trying to take back off. The engine revving is the last thing that could be recalled.

No airworthiness anomalies noted.
