From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On June 9,2026 aircraft departed ft. lauderdale executive airport(kfxe) with CFI and student to perform takeoff and landings at Pompano airpark(kpmp). After receiving clearance from Pompano tower, the student pilot experienced an unstable approach before touching down. The student attempted to perform a second touch and go and experienced another unstable approach, that led to the aircraft touching down hard on the runway. The aircraft sustained damages to the left wing, right engine mount support rod, propeller, right main and nose gear. Inspected aircraft maintenance records and found annual and 100 hour inspections were up to date and aircraft was in an airworthy condition prior to the flight. Spoke to the principal operations inspector assigned to the certificate, who has determined that based on the operational factors of the accident, a 44709 is recommended.
