From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

While conducting a part 91 flight on 06/20/2026 the PIC attempted to land heading 36 at their private airstrip around 1500 hours. The PIC stated they encountered gusty tailwinds during the landing phase of flight. They also stated the aircraft was near gross weight. The aircraft carried more speed than they were used to and caused them to touchdown 100-200 feet long. They said the aircraft bounced on touchdown and when it settled they applied full brakes. The PIC stated they applied brakes unevenly and the aircraft pulled to the right and came to rest to the side of the runway. The aircraft landing gear and lower frame was significantly damaged. The propeller struck the grass but experienced minimal damage. The PIC stated they were the sole occupant and were not injured.
