From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

On 07/23/2025 the aircraft was performing take off and landings (touch and go) at 7G8. There were two pilots on board. Left seat a student pilot, right seat commercial pilot/certified flight instructor. On the fifth touch and go attempt at approximately 09:45 the aircraft touched down slightly to the right of center line on rwy 29. The pilot in command sitting in the right seat attempted to center the aircraft to the left and overshot the centerline. The PIC again attempted quickly after to center the aircraft to the right. At this point the aircraft overcorrected to the right and exited the runway into the grass. Shortly after, the aircraft impacted an approximately 6-foot-high embankment at which point the nose landing gear assembly got separated from the aircraft. The aircraft went over and landed on top of the embankment and proceeded to slide on the front fuselage. After sliding approximately 40 feet it impacted a wind tee structure and came to a full stop.
