From the FAA’s Accident/Incident Data System (AIDS), through its Aviation Safety Information Portal, as reported. The NTSB investigates accidents separately, and its record of an accident is the fuller one. The aircraft is matched to the registry by N-number and event date, checked against the reported make and model; the registry’s history has gaps, so older matches can be wrong. Compare the reported make and model.

What happened

The FAA’s narrative, in sentence case. The FAA writes it in capitals and removes private details.

Part 91 flight departed kokk. After multiple take off and landings, during climb-out, right main landing gear failed mid transition. Left main and nose gear would retract and extend, however, right main gear would not. Aircraft circled to burn fuel before initiating a gear up landing on runway 5 at kokk. During landing sequence right main landing gear impacted runway first and rotated out of the way. Aircraft landed on the belly and skidded for approximately 150 feet. Pilot exited aircraft and was uninjured. Recovery crew raised aircraft and belly was inspected where it was determined aircraft sustained minor damage. Aircraft was removed from runway and taken to the maintenance hanger to determine failed component. Report will be amended if failed part is identified.
