Analysis
The private pilot was practicing touch and go landing. The pilot reported the third landing was a wheel landing. Just after touchdown, adjacent to large petroleum tanks, the aircraft weather cocked to the right. The aircraft swerved right and departed the runway. The left wing struck a steel post at a taxiway gate.
