Analysis

The student plt was briefed to practice stalls, slow flight, 720-degree turns and simulated forced landings with specialinstructions for the plt not to go below 500 ft AGL on the simulated forced landings. During one simulated forced landing, the propeller and the vertical tail struck a lower strand of a five strand high voltage power line. The acft then struck the ground and flipped forward to the inverted position.
