Summary
This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Airbus Model A319, A320, and A321 series airplanes. This proposal would require a one-time inspection to identify the serial number of the actuator of the thrust reverser blocker door, and corrective action if necessary. This action is necessary to prevent inadvertent deployment of the thrust reverser door, which could result in reduced controllability of the airplane. This action is intended to address the identified unsafe condition.
