Summary
This document proposes the adoption of a new airworthiness directive (AD) that is applicable to certain Dassault Model Mystere-Falcon 50 series airplanes. This proposal would require a one-time inspection for improper installation of the electrical wiring for the optional lighting in the cabin, and corrective actions if necessary. This action is necessary to prevent overheating of optional lighting wiring that was improperly installed in the cabin, and consequent smoke/fire in the cabin. This action is intended to address the identified unsafe condition.
