DURING INSPECTION THE CENTER SECTION OF EMERGENCY LIGHTING WAS FOUND INOPERATIVE. THE BATTERY WAS FOUND DISCHARGED AND WAS REPLACED. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS PERFORMED AND AIRCRAFT WAS RELEASED FOR CONTINUED SERVICE.
