What was found
AFTER TAKEOFF ROLL AT FEET AGL, THE CREW NOTICED SMOKE COMING OUT OF PILOTS SIDE VENT. THERE WAS A STRONG SMELL AND SMOKE APPEARED BLACK. EMERGENCY DECLARED AND CREW MADE EMERGENCY LANDING BACK TO HNL.
