PILOT SQUAWKED STARTER MAKING LOUD METAL GRINDING NOISE. MECHANIC INSPECTED BURNED BENDIX GEAR HAD COME APART. THIS IS THE SECOND OCCURANCE ON A SIMILAR AIRCRAFT WITH APPROXIMATELY THE SAME TIME IN SERVICE.
