FLT 9194 - FLL/FPO, AFTER TAKEOFF, ELECTICAL SMOKE APPEARED FROM THE DASHBOARD. RETURNED TO FLL. LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. FOUND TRANSPONDER CONTROL HEAD SHORTED INTERNALLY. REMOVED AND REPLACED TRANSPONDER CONTROL HEAD. OPS CHECK NORMAL. NO DEFECTS NOTED. (M)
