FLT 4172 - SHORTLY AFTER TAKEOFF, CREW SELECTED FLAPS UP. FLAP WARNING (AURAL) WAS HEARD BY THE CREW. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO FIELD WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED FLAP CONTROL UNIT, OPERATIONAL CHECK GOOD. AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO SERVICE.
