FLOAT ARM TOO STIFF BECAUSE BEARING OR BUSHING ON LOWER GAUGE SHAFT TOO TIGHT. THIS MADE THE GAUGE STICK ON SOME LEVEL POSITIONS - SUCH AS ONE-HALF FUEL READING WHEN FUEL TANK WAS EMPTY.
