DURING TAKEOFF, THE NR 1 REVERSER UNLOCK LIGHT ILLUMINATED. TAKEOFF WAS ABORTED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO THE GATE. MAINTENANCE INSPECTED THE NR 1 REVERSER AND FOUND NORMAL. PLACARD NR 1 REVERSER INDICATION PER MEL 78-2A.
