NR 2 ENGINE OIL QUANTITY WAS DECREASING DURING CRUISE FLIGHT. ACCOMPLISHED PRECAUTIONARY SHUTDOWN. FLIGHT DIVERTED TO FAR AND LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. MAINTENANCE REPLACED STUD IN GEARBOX AND SERVICED OIL TANK. PERFORMED LEAK AND OPERATIONAL CHECK, NO LEAKS FOUND.
