What was found
WHEN THE PILOT ATTEMPTED TO START THE AIRCRAFT, A SPINNING NOISE WAS HEARD WITH NO ENGAGEMENT. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND FAILED BENDIX DRIVE. REMOVED STARTER AND INSTALLED NEW. PILOT REPORTED NO UNUSUAL STARTING CHARACTERISTICS PRIOR TO THE FAILURE.
