CREW REPORTED THAT THE STAND BY ALTIMETER WAS VERY SLUGGISH IN ALL PHASES OF FLIGHT. TROUBLESHOOTING FOUND THE STAND BY ALTIMETER DEFECTIVE. THE DEFECTIVE UNIT WAS REMOVED SN 96258 & REPLACED WITH OVERHAULED UNIT.
