ORD - LEFT ENGINE SHUT DOWN ON APPROACH APPROXIMATELY 30 DEGREES BANK, 1.5 DEGREES NOSE DOWN, FLIGHT IDLE POWER, 160 KNOTS. REPLACED LEFT ENGINE FUEL CONTROL AND FUEL PUMP. SYSTEM GROUND CHECKED NORMAL OPERATION.
