LAX - CREW REPORTED ON CLIMBOUT MAIN STAB TRIM INOPERATIVE. EMERGENCY DECLARED FLIGHT RETURNED LAX LANDED WITHOUT INCIDENT. REPLACED STAB TRIM ACTUATOR MOTOR AND PERFORMED STAB TRIM MOTOR ADJUSTMENT. SYSTEM GROUND CHECK NORMAL OPERATION.
