FLIGHT CREW REPORTED A STRONG ODOR DURING CLIMB. ISOLATED TO THE LEFT A/C PACK. MAINTENANCE ACCOMPLISHED A BORESCOPE OF THE LT ENGINE LP & HP, NO OIL NOTED. REMOVED AND REPLACED THE HEAT EXCHANGER AND THE LT PACK COMPONENTS.
