AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: EMERGENCY LIGHT BATTERY FAULT EICAS MSG DISPLAYED WHEN LIGHTS TESTED DURING PREFLIGHT 2 OVERHEAD CABIN EMERG LIGHTS DID NOT ILLUMINATE. MAINTENANCE REMOVED AND REPLACED EMERG LT BATTERY AT PANEL 243 OVERHEAD. OPS CHECK NORMAL.
