AIRCRAFT WAS GROUNDED: AN EMERGENCY WAS DECLARED AND THE AIRCRAFT RETURNED TO ORD DUE THE FLIGHT CREW REPORTING A 1/2 INCH CRACK IN FLIGHT DECK LEFT HAND WINDSHIELD AFTER TAKEOFF.
