AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: AFT RIGHT LAVATORY E SLIDER LOCK IS STICKING BADLY/NOT WORKING AND TRAPPING PASSENGERS INSIDE LAVATORY. MAINTENANCE LUBRICATED THE LAVATORY DOOR LOCK AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 25-45-21.
