AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: FLIGHT DECK DOOR WILL NOT OPEN WHEN TURNING HANDLE TO THE RIGHT, ONLY OPENS WHEN TURNING HANDLE COUNTERCLOCKWISE. MAINTENANCE ADJUSTED FLIGHT DECK DOOR LATCH MECHANISM AND ACCOMPLISHED A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK PER AMM 52-51-21.
