AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: L1 DOOR AFT GIRT BAR FLOOR FITTING STUCK IN DOWN POSITION GIRT BAR DOES NOT ENGAGE. MAINTENANCE CLEANED AND LUBRICATED THE GIRT BAR FITTING PER AMM 25-62-44. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO ISSUES NOTED.
