AIRCRAFT WAS NOT GROUNDED: DOOR LATCH LOCKING MECHANISM BROKEN AT MID LAVATORY 3L, RESULTING IN THE DOOR BEING TAKEN OFF AT HINGES TO FREE PASSENGER. MAINTENANCE FREED AND INSTALLED DISLODGED MID LAVATORY BIFOLD DOOR ASSEMBLY. MAINTENANCE UNJAMMED AND LUBRICATED THE LATCHING MECHANISM. A SATISFACTORY OPERATIONAL CHECK WAS ACCOMPLISHED WITH NO ISSUES NOTED.
